Before & After
One of our favourite clients requested a kitchen renovation that would reflect the beauty of true country living. This re-imagining of space involved using live-edge Pine for the shelving and solid Beach for the countertops, resulting in a truly original design full of charm and character.
“Daniel and his team are true masters with wood. We have a sixties small house and we wanted to do a reconfiguration of space. Daniel came up with a new floor plan, changed the stairs and created a whole new vibe in our house. He was able to work with our wish for live edge wood, non-cookie cutter look and a space that looks artistic but is functional. We really appreciate that he was able to give us a whole new kitchen and bath and was able to do it on our budget.”
For this project, our task was to create a wardrobe and closet for a customer, complete with a sliding set of pullout drawers/dresser and seasonal storage above. Our clients wanted a space that was both functional and beautiful, so we used Eastern Maple as the canvas and edge grain Fir for the accents. The humming birds, dragon-fly and blue heron were hand-carved and painted to give the piece a unique artistic flair.
We had the opportunity to transform this space from a basic fireplace to a cozy reading area, complete with custom, built-in shelving space and storage cabinets below.

This client wanted to give their home an attractive entryway. We transformed their outdated front door into a beautiful entrance using Yellow and Red Cedar. We brought the door to life with a custom, hand-carved and painted dragon-fly motif.
These images are from a complete custom build of a primary residence on beautiful Bowen Island, BC. This home was created to suit the couple, their two children and island lifestyle.
These photos show the before and after results of a complete fireplace facelift. The client wanted to bring warmth into this space so we used granite and a Honey Maple mantle and mouldings.
This bedroom closet space, located in the peak part of the house, was designed and built to suit storage, dressing mirrors and special niches to display necklaces and earrings. The pull-out, full extension drawers serve as dresser. It is build from yellow and Red Cedar.
